The Coldspring Area Public Library was founded in 1984 and was inspired by the Women's League, the
Heritage Society, and a newly formed Friends Of The Library support group.
The library offers a broad range of services to the Coldspring and San Jacinto County area residents. We
also welcome visitors or anyone passing through our area. We provide access to information in many
different formats. They include books, movies on tape and DVD, books on tape and CD, and free public
access computers with high speed internet access.
Our library operates as a non profit corporation governed by a 12 person board of directors and supported
